What are the facility’s access hours?

You’ll have 24/7 drive-up access, so you can get your belongings whenever it works for you.

Can I rent a unit online or do I have to come to an office?

We are a smaller facility with 65 units and do not physically have an office presence. You can rent a unit online in as little as three minutes at https://www.thea2zstorage.com/pages/rent.

How quickly can I move in?

Most customers rent online in under 3 minutes and can move in the same day. You will receive your gate access code and lock combination shortly after completing the application process.

Do I need a lock?

Yes, a lock is required and you do not need to provide a lock. A disc lock will be provided to you with the unit for you to use.

Is a lock provided?

A secure disc lock is included with your rental. Upon move-out, please continue to keep the unit locked with the lock. Double-locking is not permitted.

How do I get my gate code?

You will receive rental instructions immediately after completing your application and signing the lease with your gate code and lock combination.

What kind of security do you provide?

Our facility is monitored by 24/7 video surveillance and an automated gate which is only accessible to those that are current customers and in good standing with payment. Our facility is well lit to ensure the safety of our late night and early morning customers.

What size storage unit do I need?

Are the units drive-up accessible?

Yes, all units are drive-up accessible.

Am I required to store long-term?

Our lease operates on a month-to-month basis, offering you flexibility for both short-term and long-term storage.

Do I need insurance?

Yes, insurance is mandatory. You can provide proof of your own insurance within 14 days of renting a unit or enroll in the Tenant Protection Plan we offer for an additional monthly fee.

Do you offer tenant protection?

Yes, we offer tenant protection. Tenant Protection is preferred over Homeowner's Insurance/Renter's Insurance for the following reasons:


1.) Your stored items may not be covered by your Homeowner's policy.

2.) Your premiums could go up if you file a claim.

3.) Your Homeowner's policy could be canceled if you file a claim.

4.) Tenant Protection plans have no deductible as long as you use a disc lock!

How do I pay my storage bill?

You can pay online at www.thea2zstorage.com by logging into your account via credit card, debit card, or ACH.

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

You are required to provide a 10-day written notice before moving out. On the move-out day, ensure your unit is completely empty and swept to avoid a $75 cleaning fee, and secure it back with your lock.

Are there climate-controlled units?

No, all our units are non-climate controlled and do not offer heat or air conditioning.

What areas do you serve

We provide storage for Collinsville, Martinsville, Bassett, Fieldale, and surrounding areas.

What can’t I store in my storage unit?

You cannot store perishable items, open food containers, living plants, things that produce a noxious smell, anything flammable or explosive, no firearms or ammunition, or anything illegal. You absolutely cannot live in a storage unit.
